This is a fast-paced, hands-on journey into the profession of business analysis and the role of the Business Analyst (BA). “Agile” and “waterfall” approaches are compared and contrasted at each step of the way. Students engage in team exercises, role play, researching questions in the IIBA Body of Knowledge, learning essential BA principles and terminology, and applying these principles and tools to their real world projects. The result is that students not only gain insight into a powerful business domain. They also gain the tools and skills to apply those insights to their daily work.
